Heather Nelson is the owner and operator of Image Inkers. Her passion for business dates back to high school as the president of Future Business Leaders of America. She went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. During her career at Desert Research Institute and Nevada State College, she discovered a knack for document and graphic design. The promotional product industry is the perfect fit for her talent in design and her knowledge in business management.
Image Inkers was founded in 2007, by Heather Nelson and her mother-in-law, Carolee. They received professional training in the promotional products industry and began their new venture. After a few years of much success, they were impacted by the recession that hit most of the country and decided to take a break. Carolee went on to retirement. Heather formed another business, Doc Designz, which focused on graphic design and creating documents of all kinds for small businesses. This led to a desire to help her clients meet their printing needs and eventually to delve into the promotional product world once again. In 2015, Heather officially re-opened Image Inkers.
